Principal Environmental Engineer Georgia Department of Natural Resources Environmental Protection Division Land Protection Branch - Response and Remediation Program 2 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive SE Atlanta, GA 30334 Phone 404.657.8660 Tom.brodell@dnr.ga.gov Dear Mr. Brodell, I would like to meet with you sometime on site at the Central of Georgia/Southern Wood Piedmont site, Hazardous Sites Index #10043. It is in my neighborhood, adjacent to Liberty Lake at Freedom Park where I sometimes walk for recreation. For years now, I have watched with interest the ongoing tree-remediation process. I serve as the elected Bibb County representative for the Georgia Soil and Water Conservation Commission. Part of our GSWCC mission is to promote the best use of every acre of land in Georgia. I would like to explore any future creative solutions for this area that might open some of this site's vegetated surface for community enjoyment. I am available most Fridays and weekends. Thank-you, - Lindsay Holliday |

To
improve our state
DNR employees are not fulfilling citizen's request for
public information. Georgia Government Employees Need to be More Helpful and Responsive to the Citizens I, Lindsay Holliday, have made multiple requests for these plans. My requests began the day after the 'Public Advisory' was released by the EPD. Advisory Issue Date: November 5, 2012 Nov. 6 Tuesday - I called the contact listed on the Advisory. The listed contact is Peggy Chambers (404-675-6240) . Got her voice mail. Left a message for her to call me back about this project. Nov 12 Monday - after 6 days with no response, I tried to call again. No answer. No voice mail. No message. So I faxed my request to her listed fax line. Nov 13 Tuesday - Mrs. Chambers returned my call, spoke to my secretary and left me a message to call her back. Tue, 13 Nov 2012 - I called Mrs. Chambers and she told me that the formality of an ORR (Open Records Request) was necessary. She gave me the name and phone of Renee Walker. I called Mrs Walker about this by phone, and she provided me with her email contact. Tue, 13 Nov 2012 -- I email to Mrs Walker their (required?) Open Records Request. Tue, 20 Nov 2012 email To: Renee.Walker@dnr.state.ga.us -- I inform Mrs Walker that I have received No response to my ORR. Tue, 20 Nov 2012 08:55, Email From: "Renee Walker" <Renee.Walker@dnr.state.ga.us> -- "I have the file and you can set up an appointment with me to come in to view the file."
